WAR ON TERROR is one of the most commonly used terms by the cowboy minded people in America. The media and politicians have injected high doses of fear into minds of the US population making them meaner and dumber. Intrusive searches, jailing of innocent people without trials for simply being Muslims and insane probes at airports executed largely to create the illusion that Americans are being protected is nothing less than the sign of a psychotic disorder.
What is wrong with people that they don’t think they have a choice? Are they blind? No, people are drip fed lies mixed with just enough truth to make it believable and which are perpetuated by the psychopath media and politicians in designer suites which saturates their consciousness from the time they are born, what is more the lifestyle crafted for us disconnects us from our identity as spiritual, intuitive beings that instinctively know what is and is not good for us, and what is a right and wrong way to live. We are bombarded with everything that does not truly satisfy, and when we taste what is pure and alive, we don’t like it because our preferences have been conditioned to crave what is chemically altered. Believing in what gets printed media is to willingly buy into lies.

The US has lost its most significant enemy with its own hands. They created the enemy then killed him once he completed his mission. The case of Saddam Husain was not any different. You can be sure that people who were in power during G W Bush and who are still in power in the US were extremely saddened by what happened when the death of Osama Bin Laden made public. It was time that he had to go. Their sadness will continue until they can find/create a more significant enemy.
I feel that Americans had very high hopes to move the country in a different direction when Obama was elected. I feel sorry for them that they have no power over the terrible injustices that are perpetuated by so many vested interests in that country, but it is no different anywhere else.
Bush and Obama reassured world Muslims the U.S. was/is at war with terror, “not with Islam”. The western political mind-set has equated Islam with Terrorism. The Western fear mongers, the people of low morale feed fear to manipulate masses to commit crimes against humanity. The essence of Christendom has been built on finding an enemy to fight, and the new enemy is Islam. The western world has been at war with Islam which it cannot defeat but would continue in struggle because it is a profitable business.
All of the news from the “death” of Bin Laden is really a prime example of how the majority of Americans are completely unaware of the implications of their own country’s worldwide actions and to which degree their thoughts are being manipulated by their leaders…It is such a humorous world.
In Australia, the entirety of mainstream print and television media is owned by only two organizations – Packer and Murdoch – who both have strong affiliations with the two major political parties – how can one ever expect to hear any truth in the media in Australia? We only hear what they want us to hear. News formulated for zombies by the smarter zombies.
I think we should have a new award category in all spheres of life; The World Zombie Award. It should start with journalists, publishers, politicians and religious leaders. The slogan of the new organization should be; “the dumber the better”.
Fear and lust is the mother of all sins and troubles on earth. Love is the only cure for the greatest diseases of the heart and the mind. Love requires a person to have the courage which most people unfortunately lack. Even as little children we are trained to develop fear, to live in fear, as a result this preventing us to know the beauty of true love. Love frees people from fear and as a result of it people reach a peaceful state. No person, state or organization would be able to take it from us because it is the power within us.
It is a very sad fact that the world for the most part isn’t interested in truth, only in perpetuating the current status quo that keeps people enslaved as ignorant consumers to benefit a minority of rich and powerful. It is hard to choose to be different – to swim against the flow by not supporting powerful businesses and corrupt governing systems that undermine and destroy the viability of peace on the earth.
Everyone should be able to access the same benefits and freedoms. Having a just world is the only solution for a peaceful coexistence.

I do understand why you say the essence of Christendom has been built on finding an enemy in Islam. It sure does look that way. But I want to point out it’s not true.
Christians are at different stages of faith, and the crusaders were clearly not very mature Christians. In those days religion was closely tied up with tribal identity and it was horribly abused. So I think we can blame the Europeans for that one, we can blame the men of the church for that one, we can blame humanity’s tendency to turn against people who are different to them. They thought they were doing Christ’s work. I think their understanding of Christ was brutal and simplistic.
As for Christianity today, I also see many Christians on the Internet who think Islam is an enemy. But that is by no means all of us. Here in the UK the leading Christian priest of the Church of England puts a lot of effort into building friendship with Muslims. There is a lot if anti Muslim prejudice here, but as you say, that is media led.
