We must be experiencing the peak of human selfishness and greed. We have descended into a kind of modern dark age, the wisdom of old is lost to us. It is an all-consuming tragedy. The energy in the world at the moment is striving for meaning as it desires the void of the image based in the ego’s snare of all it created and yet won’t first take accountability for creating such a faulty and deceptive image of ourselves. A hard lesson for most to learn is that nothing in the material world will fill the emptiness within.
The ego can profoundly misguide a person. I have often wondered if the pain in our bodies is a physical manifestation of the pain in our souls. Little Animal Man has big ego. Intellectual mind is egotistical. It is not a matter of training our eyes to see other-dimensionally, eyes are simply lenses. It is a matter of training our brains, and opening our hearts. Is the veil created by the ego made out of steel or what? Oh, the ego and its self-absorbed ways of fright and malice for survival as it hide until the meat is dead. Might be a good idea to get rid of the speckles of ego colored glass that diffracts the Light! Life is all about investigating and discovering for ourselves, not just accepting some dogma. We are attached to what we have. We crave circumstances that we do not have. We feel aversion to many of the circumstances that we do have.
By the One in Whose hand is my soul, whatever little I’ve known about myself has been shown to be false anyway. So I wouldn’t want to mislead you by perpetuating the same delusions I’ve worked most of my life to dispel.
We should learn to live by overcoming our fears -of insecurity, of death, of rejection, of growing older- to be able to realize that the world is not a fearful place, but simply a place where we have the opportunity to advance to the next level, which is readiness to accept Yourself with both your Divinity and your Incompleteness.
Creation provides so many parables from our Creator and they all speak soundlessly loud. All we need to know is what these signs tell us. Most miss the simple beauty of an awakened soul. Those who grasp it, rejoice as they embrace the Soul within the Soul and the Words that carry the Wind in their heart. The human ego cannot stand to have its owner admit he was wrong. Therefore, the ego stands in the way of wisdom, which is the process of seeing life through a combination of intellect and love. So a wise person always retains the right to change his opinion.
The Earth gives without expectation only to be able to see the beauty of the blossoming flowers on its surface, because Earth’s only essence is to bring Life into being, otherwise it would remain a barren landscape, unable to carry its meaningful purpose and its destiny. Love can only truly be experienced and sustained when the earth is willing to give without expectation. When we stop having expectations from others then we shall find peace.

Strange how we take earth for granted. See I never thought about unconditional love as something the earth gives us. Sure I always think of my parents when I think of that ego-less, unconditional love but the earth gives us without expectations too. So many lessons of patience and unegoistic love to learn from the ground we stand upon. Love your post!
